Portrait of Elisabeth Bellinghausen. Portrait of the young woman, half-time, sitting behind a balustrade, in the right hand a sprig of bittersweet. Around the neck a gold chain, around the waist a wide belt with a golden buckle. She wears a pearl-stitched hat on her head. The person portrayed is a daughter of Prof. Peter Bellinghausen, Chancellor of Cologne. The painting is a counterpart to the portrait of Jacobus Omphalius (1500-1567) in the Mauritshuis, The Hague (inv.nr. 1225).
