Engraved after the painting by Adriaan Pietersz van de Venne. See also the portraits by Delff of William I and Maurits from the same series (RP-P-OB-77.367 and RP-P-OB-50.089). On the back of the print is a document in manuscript, dated 25 June 1627, in which Jacob Goossens Sondergelt is ordered to go with his company to the crèvecoeur ramp. The letter bears the signature of Frederick Henry and the wax seal of the Prince of Orange.
