Bust of Lieve Geelvinck, mayor of Amsterdam and one of the directors of the Dutch East India Company, in an oval medallion, which is held by the personification of the Vigilance. She holds a staff with the All-Seeing Eye and to the right behind her is a rooster. She rests with the portrait on a piedestal on which it is the coat of arms of the family (including two yellowfinches) with fasces on both sides. On the piedestal his name and data are in six lines in Dutch and below that an eight-line verse in Dutch. To the left of the portrait the blazon of the city of Amsterdam, to the top right the flag of the VOC.
