Bust of Vincent Jacobsz. Coster, wine sounder and owner of the old maze in Amsterdam, in oval frame. In addition to Coster's head are family coat of arms, in his hand a yardstick. In the four corners next to the oval are depicted a compass, a writing tablet, a book and a knitting, all references to Coster's profession: he was a rich Amsterdam 'wine rower', he gauged the amount of wine in the barrels and calculated the load on it. Because of his profession, he was simply called Cent de Peyler.
