A richly dressed family, consisting of parents and six children, at a set table, praying for the meal. The parents and some children are sitting, the youngest are standing. Two children seen on the back; the judge with a slate on the belt. On the left in the foreground a crib for a box bed. The triptych above the chimney has on the middle panel the worship of Christ by the shepherds as its subject, the panel on the right the Fall and the panel on the left the crucifixion of Christ. The painting above the doorway shows the baptism of Christ. The stained glass windows depict from left to right: Tobias and the fish, the marriage of Tobias and Sara and the healing of Tobit. The meal prayer here is related to the text of Psalm 128, in which it is about a man who is blessed with a fertile wife and children around his table.
