Pricking for a strip of bobbin lace - Valenciennes lace - pricked in parchment colored green on the top. The pattern consists of bouquets, leaves and fruits that are tied together into a triangle. On the reverse is the handwritten text: "Piquires de Valenciennes 1870-1880; 501". On a note accompanying it says: "The pins are pinned on these side patterns once more between the indicated holes, so that the mesh becomes smaller than one would say on it."
