On a rocky soil with aquatic plants, the putto stands with spread legs above a dorfine in which direction he thrusts his harpoon, which he holds with both hands. The head with hair fluttering backwards is used three-quarters to the right and diagonally downwards. A cloak hangs down from his right shoulder and partially covers back and shame. The dolphin's tail protrudes up behind the putto; the caricaturally shaped head with open beath shows beard, large mustache and raised eyebrows. openings in bek and nostrils for water jets.
