Battle of Gibraltar on 21 March 1705 with a victory of the English fleet over the French fleet. This brought an end to the siege of Gibraltar by the French and Spaniards. Depiction of a sea battle in a richly decorated ornamental frame with a cartouche with a map of Gibraltar at the top. Decorated with trophies, cartouches with emblems. At the bottom a cartouche with the description of the battle in German, soldiers fleeing on the left, on the right a French officer submits to the Dutch Lion.
