Arrangement of drawings and etchings during the Rembrandt exhibition in the eastern courtyard during the Rembrandt exhibition. On the left wall you can see many drawings and etchings and a single painting. On either side of the painting is a laurel tree. In the middle of the hall is a double wooden bench. This exhibition was held in the newly concreted left courtyard to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the University of Amsterdam. Between 1930 and 1933, the courtyard was redeorganized for a new exhibition. The main intervention was the creation of a depot cellar, for which the floor level was lowered by about 1 meter. The floors were made of concrete. On March 26, 1932, the brick walls were completed. The new exhibition space consisted of a large central hall surrounded by a tower. This is the middle hall. The walls are paneled. The ceiling consists of fabric tensioning.
