Renovation of room 158 in 1930, 1930 Canvas Print
Room 158 and 161/162 seen from room 157 to the southeast. Between room 158 and 157 there is a wrought iron fence. In room 157, in the early days of the museum, gold and silver objects were displayed and extra secured by means of the fence. Behind the fence view of two ship lanterns of the 'Royal Charles'. The walls and vaults are partly stripped of paintings, and partly still painted. Room 158 features yellow brick cross vaults with profiled natural stone ribs and keystones. The instigation of the ribs is formed by consoles, which are decorated with faces. In the background is a part of room 161/162 with nut and children's truss ceiling visible. This ceiling is a copy of the attic of the ship's room of the town hall in Zwolle.
