From the Voorhal view of the western staircase portal, which is completely under construction. Behind the scaffolding you can still see a part of the stained glass windows. Against the wall, under a staircase, is the bust of P.J.H. Cuypers. The annual report of 1927 states: "As far as the paintwork is concerned, the two front portals and staircases and the Voorhal have been completed. During a large part of the year, the Voorhal and also at the two stair portals was occupied by scaffolding work".
