Algerian sabre or nimcha with sheath by M. A. de Ruyter. Hilt: Handle of turtle, inlaid with mother of pearl and enamel. topside in the form of a stylized bird's head. Silver fittings with engraved leaf motifs and birds. Front bracket and pareerstang of copper with engraved decoration, the points crown-shaped. Kling: One-, partly two-cut (jelman) with inscription. 2 gullies. Sheath: Wood lined with red sheet and decorated with carved leather in which pieces of velvet to which a string to close the sheath. To the sheath a belt with copper buckle.
