Sheet with four oval representations, each with inscription and date in Latin: at the top left Saint George (Georgius the Great) on horseback killing a dragon, at the top right the Saint Sabas in a pot of boiling liquid, at the bottom left Saint Mark the Evangelist writing at a table with a lion next to him, at the bottom right Saint Marcellinus kneeling as pope in front of a statue. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian holidays of the year. There are always four scenes of one plate printed on one sheet. Including the accompanying title page and frontispiece, there are a total of 124 records (490 performances). The three slides with the last 12 scenes (the changeable Christian holidays) have been cut into 12 small pictures in the third state, and published with a separate title page.
