Sheet with four oval representations, each with inscription and date in Latin: at the top left the apostles Simon de Zeloot and Judas Taddeus who are tortured with a saw and a bat respectively, at the top right the Holy Narcissus of Gerona standing next to a table on which a miter lies, at the bottom left the Saint Marcellus of Tangier who lays down his weapons, at the bottom right of Saint Quintinus of Saint-Quentin at a broken wheel with barbs. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian holidays of the year. There are always four scenes of one plate printed on one sheet. Including the accompanying title page and frontispiece, there are a total of 124 records (490 performances). The three slides with the last 12 scenes (the changeable Christian holidays) have been cut into 12 small pictures in the third state, and published with a separate title page.
