Sash of orange (paint-worn) cord silk in technique of Egyptian wickerwork. At both ends fringes. Attached to the sash is a piece of rectangular parchment with text and blind stamp and with two holes with white ribbon attached. At the bottom left remnant of red round lacquer stamp. Back of red oval lacquer stamp. Sash worn by L.H. Paravicini di Capelle, 1st Lute. at the 9th Afd Inf., killed on the citadel of Antwerp on 23 December 1832.
