Dish of porcelain with round wall, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze blue, red, green, yellow, eggplant and black. On the flat an encounter between two warriors, one on foot with two long feathers on his helmet and one on horseback; on the left two kneeling persons and on the right a servant with a flag; on the left behind the scene a dome tent with an endder; on the right a rocky landscape. This is probably a scene from the story of General Guo Ziyi (697-781). The border with different geometric patterns interspersed with a flower in lobed cartouches with a ruyi motif on either side. Marked on the underside with an artemisia leaf in a double circle. Edge chipped; a crack in the wall. Famille verte.
