Wooden shell and two documents (NG-MC-853-2 &3). The shell is a flat wooden bar with a number of scales on one side and a number of tables and two nonsensees on the other. This scale was intended to replace the ordinary regional tables for solving navigational problems. The handwritten patent application is addressed to Stadholder Willem V and signed by Rasmus Dekker.
