A street vendor, standing on a rise with a flag with the inscription: 'Chi vol il turbantin per mascherarsi' (Who wants a turban to disguise himself?), offers Turkish turbans for sale. According to another inscription, the seller came from Buda (Budapest) on September 2, 1689. In Buda, he offers captured Turkish turbans to a crowd of spectators waving coins and money pouches. Some have already acquired a turban and walk away with it laughing.
