Headgear of coarse fabric, black leather bottom, edges, flap. On the back corpus: yellow metal buckle, which has leather label with no. 9. At the front remains of gilded two plaster crossed cannons, in which iron wire reinforcement (counterfeited). Top front of corpus a black leather loop. In front corpus two holes (for fastening yellow metal sun). To the left and right of corpus a leather-bordered hole (for applying yellow metal rosettes and ditto storm tires). Interior; Bottom on which 4235 D (= coat of arms number). Leather and fabric sweatband.
