By unloading many shots from the city with large guns, a smokescreen could be laid, which deprived the view of the ships, 1603. At the top left a cartouche with inscription in Latin. Above the print the title with explanation of the figures, down a description of the events, in German. Part of the illustrations accompanying a journal of the siege of Ostend 1601-1604.
