Simon Stevin's sail wagon, 1602. Prince Maurits and a group of friends make a trip on the beach from Scheveningen to Petten in the sailing car built by Simon Stevin, April-May 1602. In the middle, the prince sits among his friends in the big car. Below it is a stone tablet with inscription in Latin (the assignment). Right and small sailing car, probably a prototype, with some people on board. On the beach spectators, fishermen and two riders. The big cartouches are still blank here.
