A soldier on guard, at his feet, to the right, who takes a musket (a certain type of firearm) from his left shoulder with his right hand. In his left hand, in addition to the flask of the musket, also a furket (musket fork) and a burning fuse. It is therefore the same position as the one shown on the third print of the series. This print is part of the series of 43 hand-numbered prints of musketeers in the Wapenhandelinghe.
