A soldier on guard, feet out, to the right, holding a rudder (a certain type of firearm) with his left hand. In his left hand, in addition to the rudder, also a burning fuse (no. 38), c. 1600. With his right hand, he takes this fuse. It is therefore the same position as the one shown on the fifth print of the series.
