A soldier, at his feet, to the right, seen on the back, holding a musket (a certain type of firearm) with his left hand by his left thigh and using his right hand to remove the loading stick from the holder under the barrel (no. 25), c. 1600. In his left hand in addition to the musket also a burning fuse; on his left wrist a furket (musket fork).
