Spice tableware, consisting of a leaf with detachable container, oil jug, two spreaders, one with round, the other with diamond-shaped holes in the lid, and a salt barrel., Anthonie Grill (attributed to), 1642 Canvas Print

The tableware consists of a leaf with a detachable handle, with an oil jug on top, a spreader with round holes, a spreader with diamond-shaped holes and a salt barrel with lid. The base shape of the leaf is a four-pass with a slight curve within each circle on which one of the barrels or spreaders fits. It is enclosed by a raised profiled edge. The handle has the shape of a high tube that is equipped with profiled bands at the bottom and top and at 4/5 of the height. The tube is topped by a standing ring on which a button in the shape of a pine cone. The oil jug rests on a six-lobed base on which, above a narrow crunching edge, a diabolo-shaped intermediate piece is placed. The body has the shape of a pine cone, decorated with teardrop-shaped bulges. On the neck, widening upwards, at the level of a circular profile, a multiple profiled, hinged, rejuvenating folding lid is attached, topped by a button in the shape of a pine cone. The jug has a standing S-shaped ear, which is decorated at the top with crunching, and an S-shaped spout, the end of which is formed by a snake head. The almost identical spreaders both rest on a six-lobed base on which a flattened nodus and a diabolo-shaped intermediate piece. The body again has the shape of a pine cone, in a slimmer version than of the oil jug. The high detachable lid narrows upwards, after which it widens to a stretched spherical upper part. This part is provided with diamond-shaped in one spreader and round holes at the other. Both lids are decorated at the bottom with vertical grooves that are bordered by a profiled edge. The top is topped by a bud in the shape of a pine cone. The salt vessel rests on a six-lobed base. The trunk is made up of a crunching edge between two mirrored vase shapes, a baluster, a vase shape and another crunching edge. Above, the half-egg-shaped body decorated with teardrop-shaped bulges is elevated. These motifs also adorn the six-lobed lid, which is topped by a multiple profiled button. The salt vessel has a fixed inner tank, the gilding of which is still in good condition.
