Standing woman, two putti and four medallions, anonymous, 1730 Canvas Print
Woman, seen from the front, standing in a cartouche, decorated with a folding fan at the top and a wrinkled strip of fabric around it. She is dressed in an open gown with engageantes and a skirt with falbala. In the right hand a range. At her feet a pillow with hairpins and two reclining putti. On either side of the cartouche two small medallions with portraits, and a walking stick and (ornamental) single as an ornament. The print is part of a series of five costume prints entitled Les Modes du Mercure de France, 1726-1730.
