Stove plate with the rich and the poor man, anonymous, in or after 1615 - c. 1625 Canvas Print
Stove plate of cast iron, divided into two zones. In the upper zone, a banquet can be seen in the middle at the top with a richly dressed man in the middle, surrounded by some men. To the left of the table is another man in flames, representing hell. The scene is closed on the sides with a column with a staircase next to the right column, from which a person runs from. In the foreground are a soldier, four dogs, two of whom lick the Lazarus lying on the ground, and some fighting men. In the lower zone, four female virtues are depicted on consoles, respectively Faith (?), Hope with the Anchor, Love with Two Children and Justice with Sword and Scales. Between them is the year 1615. A text band has been placed between the two zones.
