Strip bobbin lace with quadruple mounds, anonymous, c. 1900 - c. 1909 Canvas Print

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Valenciennes lace. Repetitive motif of a flower, made with a quadruple moust. Diagonally above the flower is a single moust. Bland scaling edge with decorative bands. The top is finished with a straight edge. Originally this strip was one of the parts of a strip, which consisted of nine separate parts. However, six of these separate parts are sewn together: BK-BR-J-274-A, -C, -D, -E, -F, -G. In 1966, at the top of the long strip that was created in this way, a wide strip with a different pattern was then placed: BK-BR-J-267.
