View of the Palace of the Sultan of Morocco in Marrakesh, at the time of the visit by the Envoy on a trade mission on behalf of the States-General led by Antony de Liedekercke, from November 1640 to April 1641. The palace (probably the Palace el-Badi) of the Sultan Mohammed esh Sheikh es Seghir (on the print referred to as Muley Hamet). Second record in an unassembled ensemble consisting of five prints and 4 text sheets. At the top a cartouche with the portrait of the sultan and a banderol with part of the title; in the foreground members of the locals with camels and other cattle.
