Taboeret met geslingerde dwarsschragen, anonymous, c. 1680 - c. 1700 Canvas Print
Taboo of walnut. The furniture is foldable and rests on tossed transverse sculls, which are connected at the bottom by wide, richly inserted sports. These sports show reclining female figures, one with bird and one with a book, between acanthus leaves that pass into the trestle legs. The trestle legs stand on bird claws that clamp balls. The copper spindle, around which the two trestles rotate, is surrounded by an openwork hurled sport. The upholstery has been renewed. Second copy exchanged in 1921.
