Teapot of stoneware with a cylindrical body, round shoulder, S-shaped spout and C-shaped ear, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze red, green, black and gold. On the belly a crane with bamboo and an egret with reeds on the waterfront; above that clouds. The shoulder with a band of napkin work. On the ear curling and loose flowers; the spout with a stylized leaf. The foot with a band with a meander pattern. The overglaze decoration is possible of a later date. Kyoto Satsuma.
