Preparations around the Temple of Peace, the center of the fireworks set off on December 9, 1721 on the Binnen-Amstel at the Kloveniersburgwal in memory of the Peace of Nystad concluded between Russia and Sweden on September 10, 1721. In the air four angels, on the right a part of the tower Swygh Utrecht. The fireworks were commissioned by Christopher van Brants, representative of the Russian crown in Amsterdam. Part of an atlas with 223 maps of countries and cities and war scenes in Europe in the period ca. 1690-1735.
