Device with which the movement of the sun, earth, moon and planets can be visually represented. The base is a table on four short legs with a brass cog under the table top from which a rod protrudes on which a crank (-4) can be slid. On the tabletop are names and symbols of star statues and the twelve months. Centrally a cascading tripod. On this belongs the sun (a gilded sphere: -5).
