In front of the farmers' court of Puiterveen are the crying Fobert and his father on the left and on the right the pregnant Swaantje between jonker Jan and her parents. Swaantje was impregnated by the son of Mr. van Puijterveen, but Fobert is accused of this act. Fobert's corrupt lawyer is pleading while the opposing party's lawyer belongs.
