Violence (Violentia) controls the bellows of the furnace. In heaven Peace (Pax) and Justice (Justitia). In and under the performance inscriptions and verses in Dutch, Latin and French. The print was originally made on the occasion of the Eternal Edict in 1577. Adapted here to serve as allegory on the Peace of Munster in 1648.
