Cartoon in which the Nederlandsche Etsclub is buried. The Etching Club raised itself on January 13, 1896. At the front of the procession the hearse with funeral wreaths 1885-1895, behind it are the members: Jan Veth (with sign 'hearse'), Philip Zilcken, Maurits van der Valk, Marinus van der Maarel, Etienne Bosch, Anton L. Koster, Hendrik J. Haverman and Jan Toorp. Marius Bauer has portrayed herself as treasurer of the Etching Club with the bag with the inscription 'debt'. Behind this group are the ladies members in a carriage: Etha Fles, Wally Moes and Thérèse Schwartze. At the back of the procession 'The Old Guard'. Published as an adjective of 'The Chronicle' of 19 January 1896.
