The Old Dutch Regents' Chamber of the KOG around 1909, 1906 - 1909 Canvas Print
Regents room KOG, room 248 (M260) seen to the southeast. The room, illuminated from the western courtyard, was panelled as XVIIth century Dutch Regents' Room with fragments from that time. A ceiling painting by Gerard de Lairesse, as well as the fireplace, came from the Leprozenhuis in Amsterdam. (De Stuers p. 40) Wooden coffered ceiling, consisting of edge beams and four cutting false beams. In the years 1923/24 the hall was modernized. (MB) Regents' hall KOG 248 furnished by the Oudheidkundig Genootschap as seen from the western direction with a view to the Rembrandt room with a view of the east wall where the archer's piece by B. van der Helst can be seen. In the passage is a guard. The wall of this room is decorated with old woven wallpaper carpets and some regents' pieces. The room is decorated as a 17th century Regents' Room with a table, chairs and cupboards. Behind the passage is the Night Watch Room.
