The fleet was prepared in the port of Hellevoetsluis for the journey of Prince William III with his army to England, 28 October 1688. A panorma statue of the fleet of Stadholder William III, with an explanation in a frame at the bottom (where also the title), left and right half a palm tree and a crowned shield with trumpets above. The fleet seems to be largely ready at sea, but some ships are still loaded with cannons that are ready on the quay. In front is the ship of 'sijn Hoogheijt in the which were the Lord of Odijck ende den Marschalk van Schombergh'. On the quay the prince sees the fleet in company of the 'den Grave Carel sijn soon ende den Heer dela Caillemotte Soon vande Marquis de Ruvignij'. Left and right palm trees, in the air angels with the coat of arms of the prince. Design for a print.
