Cartoon on the Lutheran church battles in Amsterdam between the Dutch (liberal) and the German (right-minded) direction within the Lutheran congregation and which reach a climax in the struggle around the appointment of the preacher Theodorus Dominicus in Amsterdam in 1683. In the middle of the performance the peace cart pulled by a swan in which Melanchton, Luther, Hoppe and Dominic ride.
