The synod of Dordrecht, 1618, anonymous, 1618 Canvas Print
Meeting of the national synod in Dordrecht in 1618. The performance gives an overview of the main hall with all attendees who are indicated by numbers. In the (incomplete) separately printed Latin legend under the representation, the names corresponding to the figures are listed per province. In this state of the print, the empty benches (right) lack the inscription about the expected French delegation (see FM 1342a). The print is cut off at the top, so that the Dutch title is missing.
