Cartoon on the Lutheran church battles in Amsterdam between the Dutch (liberal) and the German (right-minded) direction within the Lutheran congregation and which reach a climax in the struggle around the appointment of the preacher Theodorus Dominicus in Amsterdam in 1683. On the left face in a church where Dominic preaches, outside the church the peace car has arrived. Later state of a print with in the first state a much more explicit representation in which the opponents of Dominic were mocked. Under the plate 6 verses of 4 lines.
