The inhabitants of Tienen bring together a large number of butter pots, which resembled the running of cannons, on their fortress walls, which so adetered the Dutch that they did not dare to take a siege of the city, 23 September 1830. Part of a group of prints from various other series related to the plates in the recueil about the events during the Belgian Revolution in Brussels, Antwerp and other cities in the period 25 August 1830 to 27 March 1831.
