Top of a salt barrel of tin. Onion-shaped lid with a round ball on top that ends in a peak and in which there are four holes. This part could probably be unscrewed originally. The bottom of this consists of a pewter plate. Traces of silver plating are visible. Together with a middle and bottom piece, forms a salt vessel.
