In the middle part a bird's eye view of the port of Bruges and the beginning of the canal to Ostend. Bottom left a scale stick: 40 Brugsche Roede. In the lower part a map of the canal from Bruges to Ostend. Below, in the middle, a cartouche with scale stick: 500 Brugsche Roede. At the top right the cartouche the coat of arms of the Bruges Free.
