Following Behind Job: the devil who tries to rid him of his faith with all kinds of plagues, his wife urging him to lose his faith and his three friends who do not believe in him. In the background the trials job endured: the death of his flock, the death of his children and Job on the dung heap, covered in ulcers. The print has a Latin inscription of six lines and is part of an eight-part series on the triumph of The Suffering.
