Gold plated jar with lid. The cup is made up of separate parts, which are connected to each other by screws. The goblet consists of the following parts; a: Round foot, resting on three seated lions. The edge of the foot is decorated with a godron frame. Above it a narrow vertical molding. Above that an excellent list of small godrons. On the curvature in relief three masks in roller-weed cartouches. In between, bundles of fruit on roughened soil. b: A constricted ring, decorated with godrons. On the outside three attached grotesque volutes. c: A vase-shaped part. On the underside a six-leaved rosette. Above it, godron moldings and a convex list of hippocamps, ridden by naked men. On this list, animal masks are attached with rings in the beacon. Grotesque volutes are attached to the outside of this movement. d: A small part with fanning out crunches up and down. e: Such a vase shape, but larger and flatter. Above lists with large and small godrons, a convex frame with three protruding animal masks with an eye for a ring in their beath (missing). To these masks a roller work cartouche. Between the cartouches fruit bundles on roughened soil. On the outside three attached grotesque volutes. f: The chalice, the barrel of which is unadorned and not gilded. ARMEYDE // ANNO . 1603. g: a slightly flared cuff, which covers the smooth part of the chalice. At the top and bottom a decorative frame. In between a continuous relief with St. George defeating the dragon in a landscape. The lid consists of the following loose parts; h.: a lower part consisting of a flat edge, decorated on the outside with a godron frame, and a curving part, embossed with three children's heads in roller-work cartouches. On each cartouche are two birds twisted towards each other. Between the cartouches fruit garlands on roughened soil. i: A smooth round plate with a palmette edge in relief. j: An inverted vase-shaped ring, decorated with godron frames and leaf motifs. On the outside, three grotesquevolutes are attached. k: A smaller vase-shaped part, with six-leaved rosette around the lower part, above it a convex godron frame, to which alternately three animal masks with rings in their bes and three volutes with an eight-leaved rosette are attached. l: A round plate on which the figures of Joris are attached to the horse and of the dragon (the lance of Joris is missing). m: a non-gilded shell-shaped inner plate. Four coats of arms are engraved here, partially gilded and with remnants of red and black enamel. Flowers engraved between the weapons. n: a gilded round plate, profiled and serrated on the outside. This plate forms the center of the inner plate and has a screw on the back that connects the parts of the lid.
