The vase is painted with three representations, separated from each other by vertical leaf frames on either side of three of the six ribs: two herons near rocks and flowering plants, two birds at a bamboo trunk, rocks and flowers and a female figure with a fan and a flower branch in the hands of a flowering branch. The vase is a copy after the Japanese example. The vase is marked.
