Two medals with the Peace of Münster, Johannes Lutma (1584-1669), 1648 Canvas Print
A gold plaque badge that was minted in memory of the Peace of Munster. Front: between standing figures of Hercules and Athena two wreaths of laurel and oak leaf. Above that, two putti hold a banderolle with the text: OB CIVES SERVATOS. In the top in a halo, JEHOVAh stands in Hebrew signs. Along the top edge, on a wrinkled tire supported by four putti the inscription: PAX VNA TRIVMPHIS INNVMERIS POTIOR. On the reverse side a stretched cloth, along the perimeter collapsed in the manner of the kwabornament. Four putti emerge from the folds. At the top the Amsterdam coat of arms; two fruit bundles on the underside on either side of a mask. In the middle the inscription: EXTINCTO TERRA MARIQVE PVBL. bell. INCENDIO PER VTRIMQ. SVBLAT.
