Two men are driven around on a donkey, anonymous, 1612 - 1652 Canvas Print
Two men are taken away on a donkey. One of the men pokes his stab weapon into the bread he is being held up to. At the same time, his hair is cut. A second man hangs from the donkey in a bag, he screams and grabs his head. On the left, the same two men are frolicking in front of a table with three men behind who appear to be accusing them. Below the figure 4 x 5-line verse in German. The print is probably an imagination of a 17th century German proverb. (reissue German pamphlet 1600)
