Vase of porcelain with a body sloping upwards, round shoulder and a narrow, spreading neck with a raised edge, painted in underglaze blue. The abdomen is divided into two parts. The upper part with two pheasants - one flying, the other on a rock - in a landscape with flowering plants (peony, prunus) and clouds. At the bottom two horses surrounded by flames, running above swirling waves and rocks. On the shoulder three compartments with a swastika pattern interrupted by a cartouche with peach branches; the boxes are separated by a ruyi motif. On the neck a band with pointed leaf motifs. One cracks in the edge and one in the abdomen. Ming porcelain in blue and white.
